Confirmation, Rating, Disclosure, and Management of SEC Evaluation Results

 

 

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 SEC 평가방법론(SEC Evaluation Methodology)과 SEC 평가체계(SEC Evaluation Framework)에 따라 기업 및 공공기관을 평가하고, 평가결과를 종합하여 WF책임경영지수(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index, WFSRI)를 산출한다.

 

SEC (Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission) evaluates corporations and public institutions in accordance with the SEC Evaluation Methodology and SEC Evaluation Framework and derives the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) by integrating the evaluation results.

 

평가가 완료된 이후에는 사실확인, 자료검증 및 이의신청 등 정해진 절차를 거쳐 평가결과를 최종 확정하며, 확정된 평가결과에 따라 SEC WFSRI Rating을 부여하고 관련 규정에 따라 평가결과를 공표한다.

 

Following completion of the evaluation, the results are finalized through established procedures, including Factual Review, data verification, and Appeal. SEC WFSRI Ratings are then assigned based on the finalized evaluation results, and the results are disclosed in accordance with applicable regulations.

 

평가결과는 평가가 종료되는 시점에서 끝나는 것이 아니라 Rating, 결과공표, 결과조회 및 정정·변경 등의 절차를 통해 지속적으로 관리한다.

 

Evaluation results do not cease to have relevance upon completion of the evaluation. They continue to be managed through Rating, disclosure, result inquiry, and procedures for correction and modification.

 

 

 

Ⅰ. SEC WFSRI Rating

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 SEC 평가방법론과 평가체계에 따라 도출된 평가결과와 이를 종합하여 산출한 WFSRI를 바탕으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 등급으로 나타내는 평가등급체계이다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is a rating system that represents the level of Responsible Management of corporations and public institutions based on evaluation results derived through the SEC Evaluation Methodology and SEC Evaluation Framework and the WFSRI calculated by integrating those results.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 평가결과를 일정한 등급체계에 따라 제시함으로써 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준과 주요 평가결과를 보다 명확하게 이해할 수 있도록 한다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating presents evaluation results through a defined rating structure, enabling a clearer understanding of the level of Responsible Management and key evaluation results of corporations and public institutions.

 

 

 

Ⅱ. 등급체계

II. Rating Structure

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 다음의 5개 등급으로 구성한다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating consists of the following five rating categories.

 

 

① AAA (Platinum)

② AA (Gold)

③ A (Silver)

④ BB (Certified)

⑤ B (Not Certified)

 

 

 

각 등급은 SEC가 정한 평가기준과 절차에 따라 확정된 평가결과를 바탕으로 부여한다.

 

Each rating is assigned on the basis of evaluation results finalized in accordance with the evaluation criteria and procedures established by SEC.

 

SEC는 평가체계의 발전, 평가환경의 변화, 국제적 정합성 및 운영상 필요 등을 고려하여 정해진 절차에 따라 평가등급체계와 운영기준을 개정할 수 있다.

 

SEC may revise the rating structure and operational standards through established procedures in consideration of developments in the evaluation framework, changes in the evaluation environment, international alignment, and operational requirements.

 

 

 

Ⅲ. 등급별 의미

III. Meaning of Each Rating

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating의 각 등급은 해당 평가연도의 평가결과를 바탕으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 구분하여 나타낸다.

 

Each SEC WFSRI Rating represents a level of Responsible Management for corporations and public institutions based on the evaluation results for the relevant evaluation year.

 

등급별 구체적인 의미와 적용기준은 SEC가 정한 평가등급 운영기준에 따라 적용하며, 평가연도와 평가대상 및 평가환경 등을 함께 고려하여 해석한다.

 

The specific meaning and application criteria for each rating are determined in accordance with SEC rating operation standards and are interpreted in consideration of the relevant evaluation year, organizations evaluated, and evaluation environment.

 

BB(Certified)는 SEC WFSRI Rating을 구성하는 평가등급의 명칭이다. Rating에서 사용하는 ‘Certified’ 표기는 별도로 운영되는 인증제도 자체를 의미하지 않으며, 별도의 인증에 관한 사항은 「인증제도」에서 정한 기준과 절차에 따라 운영한다.

 

BB (Certified) is the name of one of the rating categories within the SEC WFSRI Rating. The term “Certified” used in the Rating does not in itself constitute the separate certification system. Matters concerning separate certification are governed by the standards and procedures established under the “Certification System.”

 

 

 

Ⅳ. Rating 운영체계

IV. Rating Operation

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 평가자료의 수집과 분석, 평가 및 검증, 사실확인과 이의신청 등 정해진 평가절차를 거쳐 최종 확정된 평가결과를 바탕으로 결정한다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is determined on the basis of finalized evaluation results following established evaluation procedures, including the collection and analysis of evaluation data, evaluation and verification, Factual Review, and Appeal.

 

Rating 결정 과정에서는 SEC의 독립성·공정성·객관성·전문성·투명성·신뢰성의 기본원칙을 적용한다.

 

The principles of Independence, Fairness, Objectivity, Professionalism, Transparency, and Reliability are applied throughout the Rating determination process.

 

최종 확정된 Rating은 해당 평가연도의 공식 SEC WFSRI Rating으로 관리하며, 공표가 결정된 평가결과는 정해진 공개범위와 시기 및 방법에 따라 공개한다.

 

A finalized Rating is managed as the official SEC WFSRI Rating for the relevant evaluation year. Evaluation results approved for disclosure are published according to the established scope, timing, and method of disclosure.

 

 

 

Ⅴ. 평가결과의 확정

V. Confirmation of Evaluation Results

 

 

SEC는 평가과정에서 수집·분석한 자료와 평가결과를 검증하고, 필요한 사실확인 및 이의신청 절차를 반영하여 평가결과를 최종 확정한다.

 

SEC verifies the data collected and analyzed during the evaluation process and the resulting evaluation outcomes and finalizes the evaluation results after reflecting the applicable Factual Review and Appeal procedures.

 

사실확인과 이의신청의 구체적인 절차는 「ESG·WFSRI 평가」에서 정한 절차에 따르며, 이 단계에서는 해당 절차가 완료된 이후 평가결과를 공식적으로 확정한다.

 

The specific procedures for Factual Review and Appeal follow those established under “ESG·WFSRI Evaluation.” At this stage, the evaluation results are officially finalized following completion of the applicable procedures.

 

최종 확정된 평가결과는 해당 평가연도에 대한 SEC의 공식 평가결과로 관리한다.

 

The finalized evaluation results are managed as SEC’s official evaluation results for the relevant evaluation year.

 

 

 

Ⅵ. 평가결과의 공표

VI. Disclosure of Evaluation Results

 

 

SEC는 최종 확정된 평가결과 가운데 공표대상으로 결정된 결과를 관련 규정에 따라 공개한다.

 

SEC discloses finalized evaluation results designated for publication in accordance with applicable regulations.

 

평가결과의 공개범위와 공개시기 및 공개방법은 「SEC 평가결과 공표규정」에 따라 정하며, 평가결과의 특성과 공표 목적 등을 고려하여 필요한 정보를 함께 제공한다.

 

The scope, timing, and method of disclosure are determined in accordance with the SEC Evaluation Result Disclosure Regulations, and relevant information is provided as appropriate in consideration of the characteristics and purpose of the disclosure.

 

공표대상 평가결과는 SEC 공식 홈페이지를 비롯한 정해진 공개수단을 통하여 제공하며, 필요한 경우 평가연도, 평가대상, SEC WFSRI Rating 및 평가결과를 이해하는 데 필요한 관련 정보를 함께 제시한다.

 

Evaluation results designated for disclosure are made available through established disclosure channels, including the official SEC website. Where necessary, relevant information such as the evaluation year, organizations evaluated, SEC WFSRI Rating, and explanatory information necessary for understanding the results may also be provided.

 

 

 

Ⅶ. 평가결과의 조회와 연도별 관리

VII. Access to and Annual Management of Evaluation Results

 

 

SEC는 공개가 결정된 평가결과를 이용자가 확인할 수 있도록 평가결과 검색, 연도별 평가결과 및 등급현황 등의 방식으로 제공할 수 있다.

 

SEC may provide evaluation results approved for disclosure through result search functions, annual evaluation results, rating status information, and other appropriate means so that users can access relevant information.

 

연도별 평가결과는 해당 평가연도의 공식 평가결과를 기준으로 관리하며, 평가결과가 축적되는 경우 각 연도의 결과를 구분하여 확인할 수 있도록 한다.

 

Annual evaluation results are managed on the basis of the official results for each evaluation year, and as results accumulate, they are organized so that results for individual years can be identified separately.

 

평가결과 조회정보는 공개가 결정된 범위에서 제공하며, 공개되지 않은 개별 평가자료와 내부 평가정보는 포함하지 않는다.

 

Evaluation result information is provided within the scope approved for disclosure and does not include undisclosed individual evaluation data or internal evaluation information.

 

 

 

Ⅷ. 평가결과의 정정·변경

VIII. Correction and Modification of Evaluation Results

 

 

최종 확정된 평가결과에 객관적인 사실오류가 확인되거나 평가결과의 정정·변경이 필요한 사유가 발생한 경우에는 관련 규정과 정해진 절차에 따라 검토한다.

 

Where an objective factual error is identified in finalized evaluation results or circumstances arise that require correction or modification of the results, the matter is reviewed in accordance with applicable regulations and established procedures.

 

평가결과의 정정·변경은 임의로 이루어지지 않으며, 정정·변경의 사유와 근거를 확인하고 필요한 검토와 결정절차를 거쳐 처리한다.

 

Evaluation results are not corrected or modified arbitrarily. Any correction or modification is processed after confirming the relevant grounds and supporting basis and completing the required review and decision-making procedures.

 

공표된 평가결과가 정정·변경된 경우에는 관련 규정에 따라 필요한 조치를 실시하고, 공개정보에 반영할 필요가 있는 경우 해당 내용을 반영한다.

 

Where disclosed evaluation results are corrected or modified, necessary measures are taken in accordance with applicable regulations, and the relevant changes are reflected in publicly available information where required.
